Narrative:

Gales and heavy rain was the forecast for the weekend, so it was lucky that any sailing activity took place at all.

Atlantis was berthed at Swanwick marina at the top of the Hamble river which was sheltered from the strongest of the winds. However it still felt that we were making a rough night crossing at times when the boat was heeling hard still firmly attached to the pontoon!

Sunday morning after a leisurely full english breakfast cooked by two of the crew, the sun disappeared and the wind became quite strong even on the river. This meant that some 'pontoon bashing' was in order and provided us with some hard stopping entertainment at times.
